Celebrating an Endowment Milestone

The Trustee Board of the Smoke Rise Baptist Endowment is pleased to announce that our TheLegacySocietyEndowment Fund is approaching a milestone of $1 million dollars, and is anticipated to exceed this amount by the beginning of November when the Trustees will host our First Annual Legacy Society Luncheon on All Saints Day, Sunday, November 5 at 12:15pm following worship.

If you have made a lifetime gift to the Endowment or have included the Endowment as a beneficiary to your will, trust, life-insurance policy, or in some other way, the Trustees invite you to celebrate with us this year at the luncheon. If you have already made a gift to the Endowment or included the Endowment as a beneficiary in some way, no matter how big or small, we want to know who you are and include you in the Legacy Society.

Through our Legacy Society, we hope to grow a culture of commitment that bears witness to the importance of our Endowment to the longevity of our church, as a testimony to others who join us on mission, and as a living legacy and gift of love for generations to come.

Because this year will be our first Legacy Society Luncheon, the Trustees are inviting anyone who wants to learn more about the Endowment to join us for lunch. Those who join in the Legacy Society by December 31, 2018 will be considered charter members of the Legacy Society. If you already qualify, please let us know by contacting our church office to leave a message for a Trustee to contact you or by contacting one of our Pastors.

Please RSVP to attend the luncheon by contacting our church office during regular hours by Tuesday, October 24. We look forward to seeing you on November 5 at our First Annual Luncheon, as we celebrate new milestones and learn more about how the Endowment will secure and sustain the ministries of our church into the indefinite future.
