One of the best things about mission experiences is that through serving others we build relationships. Twice now teams have gone to serve victims of the flooding in Baton Rouge. Ruffin Jackson and his family were one of those families who waded back to see their home devastated by the water.. We are making a difference in his life. Giving him hope by helping to rebuild his home. We are planning one more trip to help finish the project in April. In addition to the relationship we built with Ruffin our teams have a great time of fellowship serving together; from a good meal after a hard days work, to travel time on the bus and even trying to drowned out your room mates snoring. On every trip we remember that relationships change lives. Thank you to the members of our disaster recovery teams.
