Surviving Motherhood on Grace and Coffee

Mothers from our church, Weekday School and community are invited to join us on Monday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room 308 for coffee, fellowship and Bible or book study. Childcare is provided by reservation. Contact Amanda Coe Burton at aburton@smokerisebaptist.org.

We will start this year with a discussion led by Rev. Rebecca Caswell-Speight on How Families Work: The Eight Concepts of Family Interaction. How does your past influence your present and future? What patterns do you see in your family?

Later in the fall, we will read and discuss a book titled, Make It Count. This six week discussion will help you gain the right perspective for the crazy, wonderful journey of motherhood. You need the help, direction, and love of a Heavenly Father who loves you, and your children…immeasurably. We’ll discuss how to influence, model, guide, equip, remain and pray with and for your children. For more information on this book, visit www.birdsonawiremoms.com.
