Lilburn Co-op Benefits from Run the Reagan

ReaganWednesday, June 15, was an exciting day for Lilburn Co-op, as they received half of the proceeds from the annual Run the Reagan race. This year’s event benefited two cooperative ministries in Gwinnett County, Lilburn Cooperative Ministries and Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative. Dwight Harrison, Chair of 2016 Run the Reagan, presented a check for $14,000 to Kay Whithear, Executive Director of Lilburn Co-op, as five members of Smoke Rise who are involved in the ministry looked on. “We are very grateful for this donation and the timing couldn’t be better,” said LCM Assistant Director, Patty Kosolopoff. “With summer vacations upon us, many Gwinnett children will not have access to free or reduced priced meals. This will make it possible for many families to keep food on the table.”

As a partner with Lilburn Co-op, Smoke Rise Baptist Church says, “Thank you, Run the Reagan!”
