The warnings of snow are only recently behind us, but the youth have their sights set for summer. If you want to see what summer has in store for us, come by on a Sunday night. If you come by the church at 4pm, you are bound to witness chopsticks being fumbled, passports being presented, songs being sung in a language you don’t understand and students discussing cultural similarities and differences between Japan and the United States. We’re preparing to respond to God’s call as we travel to Japan and minister alongside Carson and Laura Foushee. If you stay around a little longer you can watch a preview video about Passport Choices, the summer camp we will be attending in July. As the video ends, you can listen in as students share memories of past trips and hopes for what Passport Choices will mean for them this year. Students aren’t in school, but the time that we get to spend together during the summer serving in Japan and at Passport Choices is a transformative time for all of our students.
