The Last Week of Jesus’ Life
During this Lenten Season, we will focus our study on the last week of Jesus’ life, starting with the Triumphal Entry and ending with the Crucifixion. Using the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke), we will journey with Jesus through Jerusalem, listening attentively to his last teachings, watching closely his last acts and seeking to better understand this climatic week of his mission and ministry. In the process, we will discover anew the meaning of these often misunderstood and misinterpreted texts as well as God’s message for our lives.
Begins February 25th in Fellowship Hall, Led by Chris George

Journeys-Session-2-2015Lenten Practices for Families
Lent is the somber season when we reflect and honor Jesus’s journey to the cross. Yet this can be a fruitful time where we discover new spiritual truths about ourselves. For families especially, it can be difficult to find the time to dig into the story of Lent and the lessons that it brings. Alice Horner will teach a class for parents on Lenten practices with their families. We will study Biblical texts, practice family devotionals and work on projects together that will create a holistic, reflective experience for your family. This class is geared towards parents, but all who are looking for a deeper Lenten experience are welcome! Please contact Alice (horner.alice@gmail.com) with any questions!
Begins February 25th in Room S223
