The Soul Searchers class met for their first fellowship/mission project on June 29th at the home of Debra and Allen Blake. They began with brunch and a devotion and then gathered backpacks and school supplies to prepare for delivery to the Community Connections agency that supports foster children.
The Agape class invited the director of Stone Mountain Co-Op to speak to the class about the ministry and its needs and presented her with Kroger cards to be distributed to the clients.
The Friendship class had a great outing at the 1910 Public House in Lilburn with 40 in attendance. They will be painting the interior walls of the Stone Mountain Co-op. Over the summer,
The Pairs & Spares class provided hair cuts for clients at Lilburn Co-Op and delivered baked goods and fruit baskets to two local fire and police stations. In August they will help lead the campground services in Stone Mountain Park.
Building friendships and serving others is undoubtedly creating many blessings!
