(2014) Celebrating Summer Sundays by Serving

The Young Married Families Class Serves by Cleaning at the Lilburn Co-op

Working together as families, mopping, sweeping, straightening and organizing as part of Summer Sundays, the young married class makes serving fun. These families value the opportunity to serve together and teach their children the importance of giving of their time to help others in our community.

Joy Class Writes Letters to Military Away

letter-writing-picLinda Bobo and Fredolyn Stitt organized a letter writing event for our military away as part of their Summer Sunday service projects. The simple act of writing reminds our service members that we care for them and that Jesus continues to love them even when separated from their community of faith back at home.

The summer schedule provides opportunities to fellowship and serve in a unique way. Each class has organized two service projects during the summer.
